IP/TDM Development Platform


Based on the
IP/TDM Development Platform application specific IP adapters and gateways can be developed at customer's need.

The platform is based on a mainboard with Freescale PowerQUICC processor and Blackfin DSP, an user programmable FPGA with comprehensive TDM switching capability and a backplane providing eight slots to connect
to interface and additional DSP modules.

The active interface modules with ARM7 and ARM9 based processors communicate internally via IP with the PowerQUICC based main board. Circuit switched data are forwarded via TDM bus. DSP resources are available for
DTMF, Transcoding, VAD, CNG etc.

The Linux based system software identifies and controls the interface modules and routes the user data to the different interfaces according to the predefined routing configuration. The configuration is done via WEB or by an overall management system.

Since neither fan nor hard disk are used, the system works noiseless and needs less of technical support.


In detail the platform contains hardware components like:
